With the overwhelming amount of talent in the Maritimes this vision has become a reality.

Riverfest has been nominated for an East Coast Music Award. In 2006 Riverfest was honored with a nomination for “Music Event of the Year” by “Music Nova Scotia”. Some of the acts that have graced the Riverfest stage include international acts such as multiple award winning recording acts Helix, Haywire, Lee Aaron and The Northern Pikes as well as MIR, Joel Plaskett and Charlie A’Court along with local favorites Air Traffic Control and Short Notice. With Short Notice having performed at each Riverfest since it’s inception in 2004.
